OKIMAMI makes books for the seasons of motherhood that nobody prepares you for: trying, waiting, arriving, and recovering. OKIMAMI is one woman: Grace Jerolgan, working from a small home office in Spain with a toddler occasionally asleep in the next room. There's no big company or advertising budget behind it. Every book starts with a mother who needed it.

Everything here is designed with a simple belief: motherhood shouldn't cost you yourself. Rest is productive. Softness is strength. And your journey, however it's going, deserves to be held.

How It Started

Before becoming a mother and an author, I spent years working as a financial analyst, a woman who lived by data, logic, and planning everything down to the last detail. But then I entered the one season of life that completely refuses to be controlled. Navigating the road of trying to conceive, moving through pregnancy, and suddenly finding myself deep in new motherhood far from home in Spain taught me a profound lesson. What a woman truly needs in these waiting seasons isn't more unsolicited advice. It's simply somewhere safe to put it all: the medical appointments, the shifting symptoms, the quiet prayers, and the hopes that feel far too fragile to say out loud.

So, out of sheer necessity, I sat down at my desk and began designing my own pages. I built a structured tracker to handle the clinical data of the trying months, wrote evening prayers to steady my heart through anxious nights, and engineered a daily planner to map out the beautiful chaos that followed.

Soon, friends began asking for copies of their own. OKIMAMI is the culmination of those exact raw, real-world pages: refined, made beautiful, and made for you.
